Join us for a wonderful walking holiday based at the historic Dolserau Hall, nestled beneath the mountains of southern Snowdonia and just outside the market town of Dolgellau. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and with spectacular mountain scenery on the doorstep, this is the perfect base for a week of exploration, fresh air and great company.

We'll discover some of the finest walking that the southern section of Eryri has to offer, with views of dramatic mountain ridges and ancient forests, rushing rivers and panoramic coastal views. Depending on weather and group aspirations, our walks will explore both the celebrated routes, and the quieter corners of this stunning National Park.

After each day's adventure, we'll return to the comfort of Dolserau Hall. We've enjoyed many wonderful stays at HF Holidays properties over the years, and we know the quality of the accommodation, hospitality and food will not disappoint. The house has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme, creating beautifully updated social spaces and comfortable, thoughtfully appointed bedrooms. Its setting is truly idyllic, with ancient woodland, tumbling streams and craggy uplands in every direction. Parts of the surrounding five-acre parkland are even said to have inspired landscapes in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
